Katy is a senior digital strategist whose career has been defined by strengthening American democracy through storytelling, civic engagement, and community-building. A nationally recognized advocate since her teens, Katy has led high-impact digital programs that empower voters, expand civic participation, and foster constructive political dialogue.
She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Women’s Studies and Sociology from The George Washington University and a Master’s in Diversity and Equity in Education from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Katy has worked across a wide range of issue areas including climate action, mental health, civic education, allergy awareness, anti-bullying, and LGBTQ+ advocacy, bringing a data-informed, storytelling-driven approach to every campaign she leads.
In her current role as Communications Manager she leads comprehensive communications strategies that sharpen an organization’s public voice, engage key stakeholders, and drive national support for pro-democracy initiatives.
Outside of work, Katy spends time with her family, is a devoted dog lover and coffee enthusiast, and enjoys watching (sadly no longer playing) rugby.
