Voting is the foundation of our democracy. Recently there has been a concerted effort to disenfranchise Americans to gain political power. To prevent this, State laws must be enacted to mandate non-partisan redistricting boards, encourage voter registration, and make access to the polls as easy as possible. Voting day should be a national holiday and general elections should publicly funded.
